Dear Parents and Guardians,
Thank you for all of your patience and support as we get closer to the start of our school year.
Our teachers and staff have been working hard to prepare for virtual learning, and are looking
forward to seeing the faces of our students online . In preparation for the upcoming school year,
your child’s classroom placement letter will be mailed out on Friday, July 31st.
July 27-31
● Please review your phone numbers, emails, and home mailing address on Aeries to
ensure accurate communication. If the mailing address is incorrect, fill out the change of
mailing address form
● We want to ensure that all students have internet connectivity for virtual learning.
If you would like to request a hotspot for your student, please contact the MHUSD District Office for the updated form.

● Log on to Virtual Learning Welcome Back Packet on the school website at
https://jackson.mhusd.org/virtual-learning or sign up to receive updated information from
Home & School Club (HSC) HERE. This packet will have important information for you
and your student to review. There are two forms that you need to return during your
student’s materials pick up time, which indicates that you have read and understood the
Virtual Learning Welcome Back Packet Information. The two forms that need to be
returned are Acknowledgment of Welcome Back Packet Signature Page and Digital
Learning Platforms Permission Slip . These two forms will be in the letter mailed
directly to you.
Finally, I encourage you to start making an area in your home for your children to have a
designated space to do school work. Set up a desk or table, and remove as many distractions
as possible so they have a clean and organized learning environment. After picking up
materials, place them in the learning area.
As we are currently experiencing history, parents set the tone and the climate for student
learning at home. I am so honored to be able to work with such amazing parents and teachers,
and I thank you for all of your leadership to support student success.
In appreciation,
Patrick Buchser
